Looking for somewhere to take the kids this month? Look no further.

Hang out with superheroes at Printworks

From 19th-27th February, life-size statues of iconic superheroes will be erected in Printworks’ Pump Yard.

Marvel at the spectacle and get a photo with renowned heroes such as Captain America and The Hulk.

Learn to ride

Transport for Greater Manchester and Bike Hive are joining forces to provide a cycling workshop for young first-time riders.

Head down to Alexandra Park on 19 February to participate in an introductory session, ran by a qualified instructor, to increase your children’s’ confidence on a bicycle.

Go exploring in Longsight

The Signs of Spring Activity Trail will run from 18th– 28th February at Birchfields Park in Longsight, giving youngsters the chance to follow a trail set out by rangers.

Participants are tasked with finding clues from across the park, with each of which giving insight about the months ahead.

Build a den

On Sunday 20 February Manchester Art Gallery will host a den-building event in their new family gallery, The Lion’s Den.

Based within the gallery’s Clore Studio, the event will give children the opportunity to construct their own hideouts with cushions and compete against one another in table tennis.

Have a Roarsome time in Bury

Sign up to take part in an interactive Jurassic experience, organised by performance company Funcast.

Hosted at East Lancashire Railway, the two-hour event will see you travel on the world’s first T-Rex-proof Steam Train and take part in dinosaur themed activities.
