Sheffield Wednesday stars boost for new business

SHEFFIELD Wednesday star Liam Palmer is cheering on a new business offering football fans a ‘mystery club shirt’.

Joe Fisher and Harry Bembridge both 21, started their new enterprise ‘scoreAshirt’ during the current lockdown.

With 100 per cent five-star reviews, scoreAshirt describe themselves as ‘The Ultimate Mystery Football Shirt Experience’.

Fans buy a mystery box for £32.99 and the twist is they can get any football shirt from around the world.

So, a fan could end up with galactico’s Real Madrid or Accrington Stanley. Who are they?

Defender Palmer gave the new businesses page a shoutout on his own ‘palmerschoolofexcellence’ Instagram story.

Bembridge said: “Really good of Liam to share us on his social media, especially with the amount of followers he has who will predominantly follow football, he’s ordered a mystery box from us for his son too, so hopefully we will get the seal of approval from him.”

When asked why the pair started the business, he added: “The idea was born out of a love for football and exploring the stunning variety of designs in shirts we see from across the globe.”

Despite only opening for business this lockdown, Bembridge is really enjoying the experience: “It’s going really well so far. I get an immense sense of satisfaction when we get a positive review, especially when it contains five stars”.

Bembridge joked that the main aim for his mum is for him to move out so all the shirts aren’t taking up the spare room.

But his and Fisher’s target for scoreAshirt is to develop their own website and grow on social media within the next year.

While people may question the lads starting scoreAshirt during lockdown, Bembridge said: “We (Harry and Joe) speak everyday about the business and how it can grow, so it keeps us busy and in these times I think it’s really important to keep in touch with our mates as much as possible.

“We are just going to enjoy the journey and any support along the way is amazing, we can’t thank those who are supporting us enough.”
